VECTOR ARTWORK / DRAWING GEOMETRY

SVG
to DXF.

Bring vector outlines into a drawing you can inspect. Convert locally, check the dimensions, then download a millimetre DXF or open it in LEVRTEK 2D App.

Plain SVG shapes and paths. Curves become line segments; unsupported elements are reported.

SVG physical units are honoured; unitless documents assume 96 px per inch. Verify a known dimension in the result.

BEFORE YOU START

A few useful
answers.

Which files are supported?

Plain SVG paths and basic shapes, with transforms and physical dimensions. Convert text to outlines and expand reused symbols first. Unsupported elements appear in the conversion warnings.

What happens to curves and units?

The DXF declares millimetres. Curves become straight segments at the entered tolerance. Known dimension checks are essential: artwork export scale and drawing scale can differ. Stroke widths and fill appearance are not expanded into cut geometry.

Can I convert several artboards?

Export one page or artboard per file. Multi-page or declared multi-artboard PostScript is rejected rather than combining drawings. A single exported page may still contain several separate parts; inspect the result.

Where is my original?

Conversion runs on this device. The app receives the original when you open the converted drawing. When you choose to save it to a paid workspace, the original and generated DXF are kept together. Downloading a DXF does not itself save either file to a workspace.
