TRACED IS NOT CHECKED
A wireframe is a start.
Is it ready to cut?
Tracing follows the pixels: soft edges, shadows and tiny gaps all show up in the result. Check that each profile is closed and every hole is meant to be cut.
Open the DXF in LEVRTEK 2D App to check closed profiles, cut length, pierces and dimensions before estimating the job.

A few useful
answers.
Is my JPG uploaded?
No. The image is decoded and traced in your browser on this page. It stays on your device unless you open the resulting DXF in LEVRTEK 2D App, which also analyses DXF files on your device.
Does it only trace the outline?
No. Every boundary is traced: the outer profile, holes and inner cut-outs. Thin strokes, such as engraved lines or text inside a part, become etch centrelines on a separate ETCH layer. Click any line in the preview to switch it between cut, etch and ignore.
How do I get the right size?
Images carry no real-world size, so you enter the finished width of the part in millimetres and the height follows. Measure the actual part or drawing; the DXF is only as accurate as that number and the image.
What makes a good image?
Photograph the part or drawing straight on, evenly lit, on a contrasting plain background. Shadows and perspective distort the result, so use the threshold and noise sliders and always check the dimensions.
